The special Nano coating contains antimicrobial properties built in to protect the product from bacteria surviving on its surface. IOGEAR's Laser Travel Mouse is coated with a Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) and Silver (Ag) nano-particle compound. The coating uses two mechanisms to deactivate enzymes and proteins of bacteria from surviving on the surface of the product. The compound has been tested and proven effective against various bacteria.
