The freeView KEX-150P is a CAT 5 extender designed to control a PC or KVM Switch from up to 500 feet away from your keyboard, mouse and monitor. The freeView KEX-150P transmitter converts the signals from PS/2 and VGA to signals that travel on CAT 5 cable allowing them to be transmitted over a long distance to the freeView KEX-150P receiver. The receiver converts the signal back to PS/2 and VGA. The freeView KEX-150P facilitates the control of devices from a far. It is an excellent solution for secure server rooms with restricted access, and also to allow staff to work outside of noisy server rooms. Using the freeView KEX-150P, the receiver and transmitter will allow you greater freedom in where you locate your desk while still allowing you to access remote servers.
