The PowerDsine 6012 Power over Ethernet Hubs are connected to existing Ethernet or Fast Ethernet infrastructure and connects to standard Category 5 unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) and shielded twisted-pair (STP) cabling. By sending -48V DC over 100 meters, Ethernet terminals - including IP phones, wireless LAN access points and Web-cameras - can utilize power provided from the PowerDsine 6012 Power over Ethernet Hubs.
